I have an obsession.....

After Thanksgiving comes what? Christmas! After planning and creating different things for our wedding, I am suffering from major "project" withdrawal! What better time to plan and prepare for Christmas decorating?! With that being said, I have a "look" that I am going for this year. I have totally fallen in love with poly mesh ribbon! While I would LOVE to incorporate this in my decor this year...I am not sure it will agree with our small and cheap Christmas tree.

We are just starting out and building our home from the bottom up. With that said, we still have a super small and skimpy Christmas tree. Check out this pic from last year (No laughing please)

Not a good look right?

Now THIS is the look I would like for THIS year:

Gobble Gobble!

Yesterday I celebrated all of my many blessings. I also gave the turkey some SERIOUS competition! I have ALREADY gained weight! Wow...the wedding/marriage bulge is no joke! Operation Hot Wifey is in full effect starting TODAY! Let me go hit the block!

Fashionable Friday

One of my favortie past time is shopping! Right now, I am on a budget so that DH and I can build a nice little nest egg, prepare for a new house and a new baby...ONE DAY. None of this has stopped my window shopping! Check out today's find below:

I am feeling some kind of way about Tory Burch these days!

Totally Cool Bunk Beds

My son, like most kids, wants bunk beds. He is not getting them...but if he were...there would be OH so cool!

As mentioned earlier, I am in the process of decorating our home. My son will be getting MY queen size bed that is currently in storage... but if we ever have twins (which I pray we don't) I will definitely consider having these built! How creative is that!

How do you cope?

As I shared awhile back, I recently lost someone very deat to me, my grandmother. I have only lost one other person close to me and that was my grandfather. I have to admit that while I loved my grandfather dearly, this time...it feels much different. I am really trying to be strong...and move on...but my heart...my soul...I...hurt...so bad. I am usually ok during the day....it's the nights that are hardest. I loved my grandmother so so so much. For most of my life, I thought I had two mothers.... I knew my mom was my mom...but I thought I was just blessed with two. Well... I was. I even called her momma. She told me a long long time ago...that I was her favorite...and I am sure she told all of us that...but I still believed her. I am trying to move on...to be strong...to act like nothing is wrong but this hurts like HELL and there is nothing i can do. I have developed a little routine...I get thru the day... early evening...get home... and as the day comes to an end...I am faced with the reality that she is...GONE...forever. How can I make the pain stop? The only time it feels slightly better is when I am sleeping.... but other than that...I hurt. So... BAD.

Does anyone have ANYTHING to tell me to make this easier. I truly truly feel like I am losing my damn mind.

Our E Pics are DONE!

We FINALLY completed our engagement photos.... We MAY go back for one more session...but with 53/52 days remaining until the big day...there may not be time.

Yes...I look like a whale by the hips...but hopefully I can fix that in these 50 or so days! :-)
